     ROSA

Rajagiri Old Students Association (ROSA) was conceived in the minds of a handful of alumnae in the year 1986. The Association was officially constituted on 2nd October 1986 under the guidance of the then Headmaster, Rev. Fr.Pynadath. These far sighted persons were of the view that the camaraderie developed in the school should continue in later years and also that the alumnae should work for the betterment of the school and coordinate projects for the benefit of the present students. Our essay experts work continuously to make sure all the articles at the site are useful for the studies.

Dr.George Koluthara was the first President of ROSA followed by Mr. Regin Chalapuram, Mr.Dalby Benny, Mr.Jose Kuttan and Mr.Joby Tharian.  Dr.Davis Akkara is the current President of ROSA.

Students of the School are eligible to become members of ROSA, seven years after passing out of Std X. At present there are about 120 Life Members and 700 ordinary members. An Executive Committee controls the Association. A genuinely interested member can apply to become an Executive Member.

Objectives
ROSA conducts its magnificent ANNUAL MEET every year on the second Saturday of   January. That is the day that all looks forward to. Old friends meet, new friendships are made and there are various fun games and spectacular entertainment mainly conducted by members. Several prizes are there to be won. The school officials also grace the occasion. The families of the members also have a great time. The wives of the members are known as Rosettes and the children, Rosales.

Apart from the MEET, ROSA also helps the Charitable Institutions run by the Rajagiri Province. A language Lab was formed by the Association at the school and now further expansion is on the anvil. Best out going students are felicitated and presents given every year at the School Day celebrations.

Rosa Village
ROSA has got around 6 acres of land near the Rajagiri engineering college on the Kakkanad - Tripunithura road on the banks of the Kaniampuzha river where a ROSA club is being formed up exclusively for the members of ROSA. House plots adjoining the Club are being sold to ROSA members at attractive rates. The objective of the project is to keep the torch of friendship burning.

Conclusion
We, at the ROSA wish that the Association grows from strength to strength in the coming years. For that we need dedicated members who are ready to work for the betterment of the school and the members. The future of ROSA is in your hands. So, take up the challenge!!
