The school Science Club is actively involved in bringing out the talents and potentials of students in the field of science. Together we have brought a lot of laurels to the school. Science club meetings are conducted frequently to plan the activities of the club. The major activities of the club included science exhibition, essay writing, science quiz etc. School Science Fair The school science fair was held on September 30th in the school auditorium. The theme of the fair was "Science and Technology for the Global Sustainability". There were a lot of essays writers who eagerly participated in the contests during the fair. The fair was inaugurated by Dr. Muralikrishna, Senior Scientist, NPOL, Cochin. There were more than 200 entries under three categories for working model, still model and investigatory project. The exhibition was held separately for UP, HS and HSS section. Achievements in Sub district, District and State level Competitions. From UP Section all the three categories got the III place in the sub district level. In the district level, out of 86 participants, our HS Section; Syed Mohammed and Abhiram Joseph of Class X secured first place under working model category and got the state elevel entry. The item was 'Water and Waste Management in Railway Coaches'. The same item got 'C' Grade in the State level competition conducted at Kanjagad, kasarkode. Also Abraham Mangaly and Harvey s of Class X stood in the 4th position in the District level fair under still model category. Our school became the first runner up in the District level C V Raman Essay writing competition nad participated in the State level competition on November 9th. The result is not yet announced |
