WELCOME!

Rajagiri Higher Secondary School had a humble beginning in 1964. It was established by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), an indigenous religious congregation of the Roman Catholic Church. The School was founded by Rev. Fr. Francis Sales, CMI (1904-1984), the then Provincial of Sacred Heart Province, Kalamassery.

Our educational  endeavours aim at forming leaders who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy and socially acceptable; who will champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace and who are ever open to further growth.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION

  1. First, please log on to the school website: www.rajagirihss.org and read the prospectus carefully. Rajagiri Higher Secondary school is unaided and recognized by the Govt. of Kerala with English as the medium of instruction. At present, we follow CBSE Syllabus in classes I – VII and State Syllabus in classes VIII – X  and NCERT syllabus in Classes XI and XII
  2. Boarding facilities for boys are available at the campus
  3. Application for Higher Secondary Course –Plus Two course-(Classes XI-XII) should be submitted online within 10 days from the date of announcement of results of SSLC Examination of the current academic year.  Students  studying in other streams (CBSE etc) can also provisionally apply, taking into consideration their final score at class X examination.
  4. There are two types of application forms: General application form for classes up to X and Plus Two application form for classes XI and XII. Select the suitable application form.
  5. Admission is on the basis of merit.
  6. Once you have entered all the required information (Some are mandatory), you may submit your application form by pressing the SUBMIT button at the bottom. A Pdf file will come up, print it out and affix a recent colour photograph.
  7. You will notice that your application has been automatically assigned an application Number which has to be noted for all further correspondence.
  8. Immediately after the online registration, a hard copy of the filled in application form duly signed by you along with the supporting documents should be send to the Principal,Rajagiri Higher Secondary School, Rajagiri P. O., Kalamassery, Kerala by post or by hand.
  9. The supporting documents to be send along with application form are (1) a Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.200/(Rupees Two hundred only)towards service charge drawn in favour of Principal, Rajagiri HSS payable at KALAMASSERY.(2)Self-attested photocopies of educational/Mark sheet of SSLC/equivalent Examinations etc.(3)Any other information candidates feel to submit. No original documents are to be sent along with the application form.
  10. Please note that your application will be considered only when the printed copy of the online registration is received in the school office.
  11. Grading System for recording the marks is as follows:

                  A+          90% and above

                  A            80-89

                  B+          70-79

                  B            60-69

                  C+          50-59

                  C            40-49

                  D+          30-39
